Aside from his painting practise, artist Ulpiano Carrasco creates sculptures from basswood. Firstly, the sculptures are being carved out of the stone, later Ulpiano creates basswood copies of the the stone sculptures. He finish them by adding colour and texture giving the sculptures its unique identities. They are anonymous people and also a self-portrait with a thousand faces.
