Anticipation is the feeling before something big is about to happen. The feeling of almost letting go, yet fearing the unknown. That moment before a big win, which could be a big loss. This feeling is encapsulated in a moment of excitement and suspense. 

Moving around the painting the holographic foil changes from all angles, provoking expectations with the ever changing colours throughout the day. The artist's intent is to encourage us to embrace the feeling of being in limbo, because that's when we make the most vital decisions.
